The Audi A4 comes with an optional 3.0L TDI engine I am curious if anyone knows if it is possible to fit this engine in an A3 and if so does anyone know what kind of acceleration, and what kind of gas mileage the new set up would have?

Well, to cut a long story short, after the engine on my 51 plate LC seized 3 months after purchase, the garage finally agreed to replace it. They told me they had sourced a 38k engine (mine was on 76) so I agreed they could put that in. I asked the mechanic if it was the 180 and not a 150...
