pads

hi there my car is currently on axle stands and im in the process of changing the rear pads. the caliper is off and the pads are out. i just cant compress the piston back in. handbrake is off and brake fluid bottle is undone any help asap cheers

well i fitted these about a month ago and although they brake well they are the noisiest brakes i have ever had they make a constant high speed clicking (like when you put a playing card to a bicycle wheel) even when i aint braking (does that sound normal) have taken them to 3 different garages...

Looked in guides and info base but found nothing, anyone help me been told i need a tool to wind in piston in caliper????:confused:

I have a 1998 ibiza 1.0mpi, how hard is it to change the front pads? Does it affect the brake fluid in anyway? i.e. is there a chance that it could leak whilst replacing the pads or is it not affected?

needing new front brake pads soon. was just wondering if anyone was running upgraded pads and if its worth the extra cost???

Right i had my Arosa checked over by the garage, nothing major wrong just needing some new front disc and pads. I wanna get some decent ones like Brembo or Ebc. Any suggestion and what else has everybody else got? links please! James

hi guys, ive recently fitted some of the seat sport calipers (mk4 cupra r AP RACING ONES ) to my audi s3, they are an awesome upgrade but the only thing that concerns me is the amount of dust the std pads are giving off, does anybody have any good recommend for a better quality pad that also...

does anybody know the part number for mintex pads to suit a LCR?? ive got MDB2271 and MDB2041 but dont know the difference between them - i.e which one is best!! i just want a good set of pads as the ones i have on fade badly!!! cheers
