I know this subject has had a lot of posts in various forms, but I'm having a few issues.
I have a 1.4 Ibiza 16v Sport on a '52 plate.
I need the right oil to do an oil change. The book says a number of different things....
For petrol engines it says use multigrade synthetic...
Anyone use it in their LC / LCR?
If so which grade are you using? - What does anyone recommend for a Stage One LC?
Costco are doing it for silly money it seems so tempted to try it.
Been using GSF Fuchs Titan 5w 40... for last 30k miles.
Hi guys, as above, just doing my IHI conversion & want to do an oil/spark plug change. I've done a search & only came up with the oil, badger recommends the motul 15w50 oil, just not sure on the plugs, any recommendations? Also, anymore recommendations on oil aswell just to keep my options open...
How easy is it to change the oil pressure switch on a Mk2 Ibiza Cupra? I know where it is and I have one on order but just want know the best way to change it?
Hi guys another problem. There seems to be oil leaking from the induction kit its a piper cross 1 and its the big circular one that sits on top of the engine..
Any ideas why its leaking oil?

I knew the Cupra was running too well...
This morning noticed a small oil patch on the driveway from where I had the car parked yesterday... so quickly checked under the car in the garage and I have another small oil patch :think::think:
Obviously a bit vague and will be looking tonight...

need to change the oil on my LCR 210, was thinking of either valvoline edge 5w 30
or castrol magnetec 10w 40
have been advised by my local garage that as the engine has 70k on it i should go for the castrol, as a thicker oil on aged engines is better
can anyone advise please...
