  1. Driveshaft nut Torque setting?

    Hi all, just in the process of changing the front wheel bearing on my Mk2 16v Ibiza Cupra, I've just ordered a haynes manual but not recieved it yet... Does anyone know the correct torque figure for doing up the 30mm nut on the end of the driveshaft through the hub? Many thanks.

    Been trying to get it off for hours, Just cant undo it to get the strut out, The other end just keeps on spinning and cant grip it enuff to stop it, Any ideas?

    removing a locking wheel nut

    i have lost the wheel nut key for my car but have managed to remove 3 of the 4 locking wheel nuts using a 17mm socket and a little driving around with loose wheel nuts, so i am looking for advice to remove the last stuck nut without drilling it? help please

    Can anyone tell me what thread/size the nuts are for the shocks on the rear? My mate managed to shear the thread trying to get it on, got some 10mm's but they dont fit (too tight/wrong thread)

    naff wheel nut cover question

    hi guys, i have inovit cts 18s in gunmetal, the wheel nuts are hex key style nuts, which due to the awesome weather have now gone rusty inside the hex... what i need is some covers to hide this, preferably in black... any ideas? leon cupra by the way. cheers in advance

    Threaded bleed nut

    Hey guys just doing my rear brakes and after loosening the bleed nut it is just spinning when i put it back in. Whats the realistic outcome of this? Can i just re-tap it and put a plug in or will i need new rear callipers? :cry: Thanks in advance Mark

    done a search, but no info is the locking wheel nut key in the spare wheel well and what does it look like, its new boots time and all i can find is a plastic looking nut remover with a screwdriver type fixing on the other end? is that it? surely not a plastic thingy ta guys
