Hi guys, As I am aware most regular diesels burn oil but I was wondering whether the PD series engines were known for it as well ? Reason I ask, I brought my PD150 Leon at 42k, it has now done 47k and the oil level (Tested from cold in the morning) has gone from being in the dotted area...

Is this normal. My TEMP rises to half way on my lcr real quick even on a freezing morning. Its at the half way mark in maybe 3 mins and never seems to be any hotter or colder even if i boot it or its freezing out side. Does every one elses do this ?

only got my cupra a few weeks ago but a little bit confused about the fuel cap?? is there supposed to be some kind of release button as mine has nothing not even a key lock on the inner cap so any dodgey pikey off the street can go up to my car and take a piss directly into my fuel tank!!!:ban:

Turn the ignition on and I get the 'service engine' message, but it goes as soon as the engine has been on for a couple of seconds. Is that normal? The amber light 'E(something)' does it too! P.S. only had the cara few days, first Seat! I promise to get all the 'dumb newbie' questions out...
