  1. leon horn - dead?

    ok. bought a 01 leon TDI SE 110. the horn dosent work. all fuses look ok. anyone know what the problem is?? need to know quick as MOT is due in a few weeks!!

    no, not what you're thinking. isnt it pathetic... tho... had the car nearly 6 months and havent had to use the horn yet. until today when some daft old codger pulled out onto an island that i was sliding around.... need a horn transplant from an LCR one.. at least that had a little...

  3. Horn blowing fuses

    My horn keeps blowing fuses but there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it, i.e. it doesn't blow as soon as i use it. I've tried disconnecting one horn at a time and putting a new fuse in but it still breaks the fuse each time. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

    Horn replacement

    Right my horn died the other day again (wife says not to worry too much :rolleyes: ). Anyway.... is it possible to upgrade the 1 tone horn that I have to a 2 tone one as I felt embarrased to use it as it was! Funny thing is it started working again yesterday, but will probably die again...

    Lock/Unlock horn chirp

    Plugged in my vag-com today and stumbled upon this: Under module 46 (Cent Conv) there seems to be a setting where when you press the lock/unlock button on the remote key the horns chirps to tell you that the doors are locked/unlocked. I enabled it by changing the 0 to a 1. feeble horn noise...

  7. How's your Horn

    The horn on my new Leon sounds a bit lightweight (peep peep)and probably not out of place on Noddy's car. Do they all sound like that or is something wrong with it. :p
