gasket

Anyone bothered, well needed to do a head gasket on their 20VT yet? Debating whether to do mine or not whilst the engines out but from what I can gather very few people have had to do them. May just wait and see how it holds up, but the engines on 80k and will be getting a bit of 275bhp+...

hi all, going to try and fit a newsouth intake manifold gasket on thursday but thought it best to see if anyone had done this on theirs, got any tips, do's and dont's? cheers

Just got the car back after having the cylinder head gasket replaced under warranty (on its last day in warranty !). The garage said they had never had to replace one of these before (due to it being faulty) and my car has done less than 30k so its a bit of a surprise. I have always had to top...

Is the inlet manifold gasket single use or can it be used again?

if my head gasket went, to fix it is it just a case of swapping the gaskets for new ones or is there another procedure that needs doing.. ie: cleaning inside the engine to get the water out or whatever else. replacing parts? cheers
