Hi folks just a quick question. went to use my fag lighter the yesterday and found that it wasnt working. check the fuses ans found that the fuse was missing so i put a 20 amp fuse in there just to get it working. Im just wondering does someone know off hand what the correct fuse should be for...
Think that i have had a stroke of genius....
as most people i dont like the fuse box being on top of the battery as it makes it hard to cover the ugly looking battery. so what i have done:
taken the fuse box off the battery, used some amp wiring and connected it to the fuse box, i made the...

Hi guys,
Just getting my bits together for a fuse relocation.............I have brought a 20A maximum rating fuse holder.

I'm sure that it is just a max. and a smaller fuse is ok, just wanted to check...

Hi guys,
In the handbook it lists fuse 38 (10A) and fuse 6 (5A) for the Central locking. How come fuse 38 is the only one that gets relocated?
Cheers for your help

After a great spirited drive to my work place of the week I parked up and moved to get out of the car.
On inspection I found a fuse on the drivers seat.
Wierd. Any ideas where that would have fallen out of!?
i picked up my new fuse holder today for the top of the battery and when I got home (after a bit of overheating!) i went to fit the new holder only to find the metal arm that connects to the battery is half an inch short!!
I don't want to undo all the packaging if i'm taking it back tmrw, but...

I'd like to know what else uses teh same fuse as the horn? possibly something my 1.4 doesnt have? as i cant seem to find anything that is effected by it.. it looks...

I've got an 06 face lift Ibiza FR TDi and the fuse that supplies the power to the electric mirrors (Fuse 11 on the board) blew about 3 weeks ago so i took it into franics as at this point i wasnt sure what it was. They told me it was just a fuse and they had replaced it and would be ok now...
I wondered if any one had thought to try and arrange a petition for all those who have had there fuse box melt in hope that Seat might think about a recall for this. Surely an eletrical problem like this is highly dangerous and deserves to be put right?
Also one for the clutch would be an idea?
