front mounted intercooler

hi everybody :) right im after a front mount intercooler for mt seat dont want to be spening hundreds of pounds but i do want it to do a little bit of what its supposed to do.also look good :D can anyone advise me on what i need to be looking for or if theres anyone out there with one...

For a while now i have been deciding weather to get a fmic or not, so today i went to a custom code dealer to ask a few questions, and the bloke told me it may not be such a good idea, he said he has done it before and found the intake temp was higher with the fmic fitted. Any suggestions?

What's best to use to clean fmic's so they go back to silver any special tricks?

Right guys quick question Can you keep the engine cover with one of these fitted, will be going for a forge one? I like the look of the cupra r engine cover and would preferably like to keep it. Looking at pictures it doesn't look like i can. Any help appreciated. :help:

Radtek are making me a custom intercooler, im thinkin about gettin one based on the Forge, does anyone know the full dimensions of intercooler and pipes? Cheers

Hi all, Fitted my laguna intercooler today:) wow what a difference! I didn't think there would be such a benefit considering amb temps are so low, but i couldn't be more wrong. Everything has improved, power, engine note, power band and exhaust note. Definately worth the 200 odd quid...

Has anyone fitted a PD150 FMIC on to an AHF or ALH? Iv'e just got a used 2006 Golf FMIC off ebay for £20!! only thing wrong with it was one of the lower mount pegs had been snapped off! I know I will have to make up custom pipework and brakets, that doesn't worry me. But it would be nice...

Im wanting to do my FMIC Next, the question is... Forge or Apr??? I love the look of the forge how you can see it under the lower grille. To me the apr looks bigger.... Im wanting to go apr stage3 and reckon apr will want to use thier cooler? Anyone have experience of either? Cheers
