Thought i'd post up a couple of pics of my lightened flywheel
It's a standard VW 228mm job which now weights just over 6 kgs
Very impressed with the quality of the work, it looks almost factory
Just got to sort out a suitable clutch and diff now
How do you find out which size flywheel your car has?
And am i right in saying that if the 228mm flyhweel is fitted as standard a VR6 clutch can be fitted without replacing the flywheel to the G60 jobbie?

Have done a search and not really found my answers.
I suspect that my release bearing is just starting to seize up so am going to be removing the gearbox soon when it gets worse. At the same time i'm going to replace the Flywheel for a G60 flywheel and the clutch for a vr6 item as i think...
Went to Jabba yesterday for a g60 clutch and lightened balanced flywheel. A top job was done and the clutch is a dream to use works better than the factory dual mass etc. I would reccomend the clutch setup and Jabba. Heres one very happy customer.

Hi, iv just order'd a pelequin LSD...I need a new clutch and a flywheel to go with it. Then i can put it all in together.
Im sure i have seen a clutch/flywheel combo for sale for good money. But cant seem to find it now.
My cars currently on 237bhp...But i have plans to upgrade the turbo...

When my car is stationary and idling there is a slight rattly sound but when i press the clutch it disappears.
Im wondering if its my flywheel starting to fail, however i fitted my uprated sachs clutch over the weekend and the noise is only there since fitted. Ive noticed the uprated clutch...

Right i've bought my new clutch which is for a G60 corrado, I need a new flywheel but i want everybodies opinion as to weather i should get a lightened one or not.
I know that this can cause the gearbox to rattle. Who's had this done and what's your advice for me?
Also what else do i need...
