Hi, done a search and am I right in thinkin that as my leon's key is a hella 433mhz, any VW flip key with 433mhz can be coded to my car for the locking and ignition?????? and has anyone done it????

Was thinking yesterday, is it possible to turn our key into a flip key like the Mk4's? I would assume it is. If so, has anyone ever done it?

where have you all mounted your hide away units/brains for the headunit? i currently have mine under my passenger seat but its not ideal as it can get kicked etc. i dont think some of the wires are long enough to reach the boot.:confused:

Hi guys, Finally getting a new blade cut for my flippy key (1st go was a **** up). Got my key apart again, but how do I remove the old blade from the bit that attaches to the spring. I have a new locking pin with the new blade, but how do I get the old one off ? Any ideas ? Cheers
