flat

Is it common for there to be a flat spot on the PD130 engine at around 1700RPM? I've changed gear a few times and noticed the engine seems to stutter slightly, a little like it's misfiring. Not got VAG Com so can't check for any error codes.

ive noticed that if you gun it in 1st gear then click second the car splutter for a second then picks up again, im guessing this is a common problem and would need a remap to get it sorted,also noticed other flat spots in places, cheers

Hi - Checked the air pressure in the tyres today and noticed some funny wear on my brake pads. Doesn't look normal to me - there must be a 5mm difference in thickness from top to bottom. Hopefully the link works. It's an Altea TDi FR if that makes any difference. Jon
