having trouble with long term fuel trim running lean multi,replaced n75,spark plugs,maf,vaccuum hoses except on from actuator-n75,lambda bank1,coolent temp sensor,forge tip.still not cured if anyone can help? also wondering with this fault will it fail mot?:think: fault seems to only comes...

Ive just noticed the gaiter on my steering rack has split and ive got my MOT coming up... would it fail on this? Has anyone ever replaced one of these before on a mk3?

Hello all, Had my Toledo ('99 V-plate 1.8 20V SE) MOT'd and it failed on emissions. The CO emissions were approximately twice the limit :o Had a new exhaust on their last year and that's been checked and apparently no leaks. Changed my air filter today as well which was pretty filthy...

Only reason I ask is I have MOT tommorow and after replacing steering column I havent plugged in VAGcom yet to clear code... If so better do it before I go !!!

Booked my car in for an, ahem, mufflerectomy at my gf's brothers exhaust place. Told him about the posts on here regarding removal of the silencer to give a better sound to diesel engines. He is pretty sure that the silencer must be present to pass an MOT. He wasn't 100% sure but apparently...

Hello. I realised last night that my horn doesn't seem to be working. My MOT is coming up in a few weeks and id like to know if my car will fail the MOT because of it? Have been looking at an AIR HORN (Novelty ones)...are these street legal or not? And one more thing, are there 2 horns on a Seat...
