Hello, I'm loving my recently bought Cupra, even though it seems to have a mind of its own and be determined to get me points on my licence...
but
I noticed the other day that the seat back cover of the front passenger seat has come unattached. Theres a join which runs along the bottom of...
Was out and about at 6 o clock ish this morning. 15 degrees on the temp display and the R was flying! :scary:
Only had it 3 weeks and it's been warm as fook ever since, amazing what a nice bit of cold dense air can do...
Bit random but, just thought I'd share!
Hi guys,
Did a search on grinding noise but couldn't really get an answer.
Basically just had a country lane thrash and every fast corner i took that was tightish the car was making a really loud grind. It was doing this before, but one real sharp corner came up at 60ish and now it makes...
It says in the manual too black out part of the headlamp beam instead of the normal method of bending it...apparently not available on the leon...is this right? anyone experienced this, I will be doing a lot of my driving at night and really don't want to loose any vision!
Hi all just thought id share this with you as its a little strange.
So anyway ive had the worst luck with my car this year,
Xmas the clutch went. It was a year 1/2 old. Seat said something about a flywheel and oil bla bla and its becoming common. so watch out. It wasn't all bad my boss...

Hi all,
Just wanted some input on how everyone drives their diesels (I'm driving a 150 Leon FR), as it's my first one.
For normal, econommical driving I change up at about 2-2500 rpm and try to go along at about 1500 (is this too low, is it bad for an engine to be labouring if I drop...
Hi,
I've got a nasty sqeak coming both rear doors on my TDI SE. Driving over the tiniest bump causes a really annoying sqeak from both sides. Vanishes/reduces when I drop the windows.
Any thoughts on how to make it go away? Complained to the dealer who couldn't, off course, find anything...
As i live in Speed bump city, my cupra has to climb over quite a few of these blighter's! Ive noticed a noise coming from my back suspension. Its sound's like rubber being compressed and only does it when the suspension is compressed (squashed up) coming off speed bump's etc. Anyone had the same...
I've now tracked down my sluggish LC probs to the MAF, after replacing DV, N75, cleaning TB etc. I unplugged it yesterday & went for a drive... WOW, it was so much smoother & felt considerably quicker too  . So, I'm now driving around with the MAF unplugged, is this ok? will it do any...
Went for a test drive today in a 1999 S reg GTi Cupra Sport at Seat in Derby priced at £2995 (which I think is overpriced). Inside it was immaculate, but concerned about the way it drove.
Firstly the clutch was very heavy, which I know is easily sorted. Car had 57k on clock.
Secondly the...
Just a thought ... probably rubbish....
How about a section for "On the Road Driving Experience"
Like good and bad things happening to you on the road?
With a subsection of "Road Rage"...
Probably too few posts to put in it ... but just a thought :D
Got a flat tonight and put the space saver on. The TCS has been going a bit spastic, pretty much flashes constantly no matter how slow I accelerate and even at a constant speed of 40mph its flashing constantly, won't really let me go above it. Got so annoyed I just have to keep TCS off...
Had to drive to and from work in the snow today. Not a good idea with the Revo on! I should have turned it off really but didn't have my SPS 1 with me. The roads hadn't been gritted and I lost control of the car for the 1st time. I have been well impressed with the brakes on the Cupra tdi and...
