hello, i bought my car bout 6 months ago. which had lots of stuff done to it by the old owner. it has the the charge cooler. was thinking bout getting rid of it and buying the fmic. is their much of a differents betwwen the two. or am i wasteing my time. cheers
As Ive just got a t piece from Awesome GTi so I can wire up my oil pressure sender for the gauge.. Can someone tell me the location of the oil cooler and is it gonna be a pig of a job to get to ??

only drove a couple of miles to r lasses but i can honestly say the car has around 67.94 bhp more:rolleyes:
on a serious note the car feels better overall but especially higher in the rev's where it seems to have more boost/power
my inlet man was very cold when i popped...
Just wondering if any body has had similar probs. If i am stuck in traffic the car risess in temp as the fan doesn't come on. also my A/c doesn't work and when i turn the ignition off the turbo fan doesn't come on. any diagnoses or advice?? by the way i checked the fuses near the serial port...
Does anyone know the thread pitch required for a sandwich plate for oil cooler for lcr? Also do you get a bigger pressure drop the larger the size of cooler?
