I have a speedo & analogue clock in my dash. Would it be possible to do a straight swap with one with a rev counter, or would that need wired up?

On the sport tdi 03 I am very happy to say that even the spare does not catch the bigger calipers etc, so thought when I had a puncture that I was screwed but they are fine. Just in case you have that experience - that is on 205 45 16 spare
