Good morning all!
I had the gearbox changed on my 1.4TSI about 5 years ago, it’s a 7spd DSG, when I got the car back it drove fine for about 15-20 minutes, then started driving worse and getting more jerky until the point of stalling in first and feeling like the box was going to fall out...
Hi all looking for some advice, recently purchased a MK2 seat Leon Cupra the car drives well pulls in all the gears and doesn't have any audible knocks and bangs coming from the engine, the only notable problem being the clutch pedal sometimes not immediately returning up after changing gear...
Just bought myself a Leon Cupra 290, but I just feel like something is off with the pedals. I'll preface this with the fact that I've never driven a "sporty" car before, so maybe there is an element of getting used to things. Also it's a 66 reg but only 24k miles and it' been sat around a lot...
I'm trying to solve the seemingly unsolvable. Any tips, knowledge or hunches gratefully received!

From reading around I think what I’m looking at is probably one of the cylinders going but I’m still not 100% sure. The clutch is taking a long time to rise until it get maybe an inch from the end of its travel to the normal position and then it speeds up and clunks back in to place...

Hello,
What clutch would handle a stage 2+ Leon Cupra 1P without putting too much load on the thrust washers as they supposedly suffer from very stiff clutches. How often is advised to check/change them?
Kind Regards,
Ross.
I’m sorry this is pretty lengthy so I understand if people only want to reply to one or two of these questions, that’s totally fine ☺️
Hello! Basically I’m just going to dump a question or two I have here incase anyone can help. Bought a mk1 Leon 1.9 tdi (pretty sure it’s the S so the slower of...
Hi
This morning as I went to start the car (need to press the clutch pedal) it just immediately slammed to the floor. I brought it back up again with my hand and it stayed there but then as soon as I pressed it again, it's almost like it had a spring and went back to the floor again.
Does...
Hey guys, my clutch has recently started slipping like crazy and I'm a little concerned as it's only done 50K miles. I got the car on 35K and it was well maintained and loved so I trust the previous owner didn't abuse it.
Anyone had an experiences with clutch durability?
Hi,
i recently purchased a Seat Leon 1.9 TDI 2008 and noticed that when the clutch pedal is pressed, i hear a vibration/rattle.

Hi, just bought a 2015 1.4ecotsi with 60,000 on the clock.
I'm not sure if this is normal for the car but I get a mild grinding sensation through the clutch when fully depressed during breaking and about halfway through lifting off the clutch after a gear change. There is no sound associated...
