OK, as many will know, the inlet/boost pipe fittings used on the VAG TDIs are prone to popping apart.
If the two small retaining lugs on the end of the pipe get worn or damaged, it's often a downhill slope - once it's happened, it's quite likely to happen again. Each time the joint comes apart...

Needed an inlet manifold gasket, which my Seat Dealer didn't have but recommend TPS!
Glad he did as 5lts of Quantum Platinum is only £18.23 inc Vat, and the oil filter was only £3.39, and also grabbed a pollen filter for £5.18. :D

A friend tried to fit one of these to his 1.9 110hp unit but the connectors appear to be of a different size -anyone else had this problem with this manufacture??
looking for some cheap alloy wheels, ones that look okish lol. Need to be correct offset so i dont have any issues with clipping my calipers. 18's i prefer. And dont need tyre's. Got a set just now but they clip my caliper's when new break pads fitted. Dont really want spacers. Any1 any idea's?

Wantin to try and upgrade my rear ,front wishbone bush as seen on briskoda. Just got a quote of 55-70 quid to make the four 8mm thick discs;at that rate i could try a local independant garage.
has anyone got any cheaper more accessible ideas to make these discs or similar.Im all up...

After reading the Briskoda article on upgrading your knackered wishbone bushes to Cupra solid type, i was all hyped up to do the job. Unfortunately getting some 8mm thick discs from an engineering firm will cost 70 quid to make or nearer 55quid if i change the diameters of the circles...
