I currently have a cupra tdi, i am driving 150 miles on motorways twice a week now and I am finding the ride firmness a bit of a pain now( I never used to) I am also filling up alot more, not because of poor mpg but because the tank is small. I was thinking of changing to something like a 120d...
I think my LCR has realised it's for sale... as yesterday it decided to start eating it's coolant sensor. Great. Luckily not an expensive job but it's more money spent on a car that hopefully wont be mine for much longer. This is, of course, on top of the tax and MOT coming up....
I'm sure...
Thanks to all that came today, the weather just adds to it, but i appreciate everyone still making the effort to come. Massive thanks to cubias for bringing the gazebo-even if it did lead to jamie getting an early shower (thats what you get for being the only fool to wear shorts)

What can you people tell me about the Cupra R's which were used at Rockingham?
A mate has had a Cupra R for well over a year now, he's just giving it a proper polish, and has discovered what appears to be the 'sun shading' of what once used to be a 'race flag' decal, the numer '12' decal and...

Good cars, awesome performance but when you come to sell them watch out.
think ive put it up for a good price gone off parkers price guide and its got over a grand worth of mods on top.
any1 think it would sell better if i took the mods off and sell standard.

Got the car booked into the spray place on the 17th (there very busy). Getting the rubbing strips, wingmirrors and door handles plus all stone chips and scratches taken out. Costing £150 which I didnt think was 2 bad. Shall post pics when its done. Has anyone else had this done?

Is there anything you can do (or any point in it) to a new car to keep it looking new for as long as possible? The most I've done in the past is just wash the thing carefully when it looked a bit dirty.
But then it was a silver car so it took a while.
Or anything you would NOT do to a...
