bulbs

Hi, Wanting to change the headlight bulbs on my fr when it arrives, what are the ones that give the blue/white light that are near xenons? Ta Virge

How easy is it to change the indicator bulbs and the fog bulbs?is removal of the bumper needed?

I know their are lots of bulb threads but couldn't find much on these bulbs. I have just fitted a pair and the difference is absolutely huge, they seem ever so bright, just wondering has anyone had problems with these bulbs being so bright? (Although they are fully road legal) I have been out...

I've tried a search but can't find what i'm looking for. I've got the 55% 'more light' bulbs from the dealership installed. However these are still a bit s**t! I'm just wondering what upgrades are available (bulb wise) to get a better result. Thanks in advance, Westy.

hi guys on your advice bought some phillips xtreme bulbs fitted them alright ...but had the side lights free with purchase , but being a bit blonde cant see how i get them in ! anyone got any tips ...cheers :confused:

just fitted these after reading the reviews of them being the best bulbs to get and i must say, they dont seem very white..bright yes, but i was expecting a crisper white light..:confused:

i was wondering, i'm looking to change my dials to white ones and was thinking of changing the bulbs (if poss) to blue ones, i was therefore wondering if anyone has done this and how hard it was and also what bulbs i'd need. Many Thanks Wayne.

Hi all, Both number plate lamp bulbs have gone and as I'll be driving in the dark later I need to replace them (or at least have the replacements in the car!). Please can someone tell me what type/code these are so I can get some from Halfords at lunch! Thanks! DC

Every time I see aftermarket Xenon lights with an approx 8k temp, and of course some of the older Vauxhalls, Beemers etc with OEM Xenons, it makes me think that an OEM Xenon Bulb upgrade may be worth while. Problem is I have no idea as to the specification of the OEM bulbs although I do know...

I just went out to my car to fit some new H1 and 501 bulbs and after 20 minutes I've changed 0 out of 4 bulbs! I couldn't even work out how to remove the exisiting 501 bulbs, can anybody explain please? Also, the electrical connector on the H1 bulbs felt like it was welded in place, no...

One of my stop bulbs has died, the car is only 1 1/2 years or 30,000km old and is in the shop for service is this covered under warranty or not? Cheers

Has anyone upgraded their right light bulbs, whether its the stop lights, tail lights etc, I see a few companies sell up graded bulbs for the rear, but wanted to know if any one has done this and is there much difference compared with orginals ! before i splash the cash

I had upgraded by stock headlamps (Dipped main beam H7) last year to Osram Silverstar +50%, and thought the improvement in light quality was very impressive...just changes the H7's again to the new Philips X-Treme +80% and WOW....awesome... They really pick out roadsigns and reflective paint...
