I have an LCR with ds2500 pads and grooved discs.
On its debut track day at Snetterton last friday, the car was amazing and keeping up with cars far superior to it; however, my shiney red front brembos have turned brown! I know this is due to the heat, but wondering if anyone knows if it will...
just fitted my porsche brakes there off the back of a boxster. everything fits fine it just braking is poor, my question is whats wrong?
do they just need wearing in could the calipers be siezed or could it be bleeding? the pedal feels quite hard but doesnt stop well.
My Brembo calipers where looking pretty rubbish and pink again after the paint and lacquer started to flake. I followed the Refurding Your Brembos Guide on here before and they came up ok, but this time I went a step further and sanded them right back, repainted using high temp paint...
Just looking for some advice peeps, this may have been done to death before, so i apologise before hand, but can anyone give me a link to upgraded breaks that will fit e.g callipers discs and pads? At a good price? Will be much appreciated cheers:help:

Basically been given a 4pot brembo setup for the front of my MK4 Golf. I do not know what size disks fit and what is the maximum size i can use ?

Noticed this last night.
When pressing on the brake pedal, I get a clicking noise from the driver side brake caliper, I can feel it through the pedal also.
Its whenever it gets to a certain point on the pedal, it clicks every time.
Anyone else experienced the same?

Have been thinking about getting some LCR discs and calipers for my 150pd cupra, but dont know if I will still be able to keep my original alloys. Has anyone tried/managed to do this? Also, where did u buy them from.

its time to upgrade my brakes. im goin to get it all upgraded minus upgraded calipers.
steel braided hoses, race fluid and ds2500 pads are on the cards but unsure on what discs to go for.
am i right in thinkin standard discs are VAG discs designed for the brembo calipers not actually...
Is anyone running a set of OZ ultraleggeras with brembo calipers fitted? If so, what offset are your wheels, and do they require a spacer?

Hey! in summer i fittet my brembos, but fittet them upside down as my hoses was to short for them to be rightside up.
so now im going to do like this pic i found on badger! and wonder if any of you have done the same? and maybe knows what hoses i need? because mine is 1female and 1male...
Any ideas on what the best brake pads to get to try and quiten by brembos down on me lcr! They are due for a change soon so going to get some bought now!

im struggling to find anywhere that sells 305mm discs....i know you can get them from seat but would like some drilled/grooved ones. Id really like black diamond ones but doubt theyd do them as im going to refurd/repaint my callipers black with white porsche logos;)
while i was in germany i saw an LCR in the ring car park, all cages up but had small brakes no brembos,
it was an lcr before you ask.
did they do this or was it a pos rebuild with lcr engine.
hi all....ive been looking at wilwood 2 piece discs but cant find any small enough. so will most likely have to stop with one piece, anyone got any idea where and what the best brand to get is. also will the brembos fit behind bbs rs? i have tried the search function but havehad no joy
