backbox

Hi, I have a remapped 1.8t Leon with its stock exhaust. At between 3.1k and 3.5k whilst cruising, I think the drone noise is coming from the backbox. I have held the clutch in to notice the sound disappear, so I dont think its wheel bearings etc. Does anyone sell new backboxes for the Leon...

Are all backboxes similar in size and fitment where they join, kind of a dumb question i know but my exhaust system (blueflame dp/cat, scorpion cat back) is welded into one piece (only the join from the dp to the cat back) and i kind of want rid of the big 4" tail pipe on my scorpion for a twin...

Got my car in to the workshop at Demon Tweeks today for a new backbox and Tip. Heres the before and after pics (taken weeks apart, hence the dirt and grime).

Hey, bought the 3" twin direct fix backbox from ashley on wednesday, recieved it yesterday and gathered since it was a direct fit...should be able to tackle it myself..get the old one off, thread the new one in, and go to line the front up...the hangar bars are to the side....my rubbers are...

Have been reading around, and it seams the Eibach ARB's dont fit the LCR with a standard back box on as it rubs. Has anyone tried these with a blueflame system on, and does it allow that little extra to let the rear ARB clear the back box???

hi does anyone elses rear box rattle consistently? The inner oval part of the baxbox seems to be a bit loose..if i hold something on it it stops rattling. I tried wedging a small piece of wood in there ( i think it was a pine needle lol) but obviously that didn't last 2 minutes!! anyone...
