axle

Quick question, want to get under my today and i've bought a set of axle stands but haven't clue as to the correct point to fit them, and i'm having to use the car jack as well, any help would be much appreciated.

done a search and it came up with the location to put axle stands on an Ibiza, but could not find a thread about a Leon I am a bit of a novice when it comes to stuff like this obviously the clue is in the name, axle stands....place them under the axle right? anyone have any pics on...

Are all ibiza and mk2 golf axles the same width? By this I mean the distance between the insides of the strut monting points. The thing is Im trying to fit an Eibach Mk2 Golf arb and its too wide? Thanks.

Heard a rumour that the Ibiza Mk3 rear axle and the Polo Mk4 6N axles are the same? Would I be really lucky (for a change) and not have to sell my Polo FK Silverline X's to buy Ibiza ones just? Could I get away with just swapping them over? Cheers
