It seems alot of the Focus RS boys fit Forge actuators with a blue spring and run them direct with no solenoid or boost controller at all, they adjust the actuator arm to run the desired boost pressure and that's it. What are the pros and cons of doing this?

whats the benefit of fitting one of these ? are they just for the big horsepower boys or do you see any difference on a ko3/ko3s thanks in advance

any one ever needed one? mate needs one on his ibiza cause its not holding boost properly, was told its gonna e bout 80-100 quid plus few hours labour to tweek it? jus worried as my lcr isn't holding boost only 18psi instead of 21 wondered if this could be the prob??

i need to know the standard setting on a k04 actuator as mine has been adjusted on the bam engine i recently bought. if someone could take a quick pic of theirs or even just count the threads protruding that would be great. cheers

i've just swapped my forge actuator back to a standard one, but i'm only seeing about 18psi peak on a K03s as opposed to the 22-23psi it should be spiking at, jabba said to just wind it out a bit untill i get to 22psi. which way do i need to wind it out? is it the nut on the left as you look at...
