Well Kings want £525 and are trying to get me to do brakes and A/C. JKM is £405... Looks like JKM then, but that'll be in Feb as car tax this month too :( plus I want to save for an R32 rather than spend on the current car.

Anyone know whats involved in the 60k service? I want to start getting parts ready for mine ;) So far on the list; Cam belt, Water pump Oil/filter change Spark plugs? Anything else?

Is the cambelt on the Passat PDs (longitudinal mounted engine) every 60k miles / 5 years? Also, does anyone know if the waterpump gets changed at the same time? thanks, Craig

Anybody know the man hours to complete the 60K service? That's the service only, no timing belt of brake fluid change.

Any recommendations? Stealer is quoting me around the 600 quid mark for the service and cambelt change. Now I know it's a big job but my pockets aren't that deep! Hello fellow seat owners.. My LC 2001 has just done 57K miles, and the service is due soon... I got two quotes for a 60K service & cambelt change: Southgate Seat said 500 pounds MI Seat in kingsbury said 190 for service and 200 for the cambelt, total 390 pounds. What have you guys...

Just had my Y reg Cupra serviced for the 60,000 mile service. Had the cam belt and roller changed as "it's only 30 minutes extra on the labor for swap vs change" and the whole lot cost me.. ....£483.09 inc VAT. Ouch. The irritation really starts when they havn't been able to do the job...
