I might be buying an Ibiza with 58k on the clock, would anyone mind explaining what the 60k service involves and what it would likely cost (assuming it has not been done already) Thanks

Hi Guys, My LCR 225's done 47k but its due its 60k service or 6th year service. Its a little hesitant at times when i put my foot down and I think its down to some kind of missfire in the cylinders so im going to replace the spark plugs and replace all them coil packs with fresh new ones...

my 60k service is due in another 5k miles but going nurburgring in may so i am getting cambelt done before i go. what else needs doin on this service and is there anything that is advisable to change/upgrade?

Hi all, Can someone fill me in on what is meant to be done at the 60k service according to the service book - oil and filter obviously, I know about the cambelt (including the later released recommended guidlines) I think spark plugs too - but what about air filter? Anything else? Cheers...

Today I called my local SEAT dealer to arrange a date so I could send my '04 cupra TDi in for its 60k service....and OH MY DAYS.....they quoted me £550-£600, cam belt change included....Is it me or is that a bit expensive? Just a quick suggestion on if its a good idea to take it to somewhere...

Spoke to my local VAG specialist as my 60k is a little late, coming up to 67k now. Got a price of £154 inc VAT, which I thought was decent. Also enquired about Cam Belt and got £220 +VAT, and it includes the water pump, so all in around £400. Sound about right?

:cry::cry::cry: just hit 60K in my cupra! is this a big step,the service isnt due until jan but is it worth getting one soon? i believe thta 60k the cambelt gets changed and a few other things? is it going to be costly??? :shrug::shrug::shrug:

just had my cam belt and water pump changed! £89.00 for cam belt and about £60.00 for water pump, but you get £30.00 back when you return the old one (from dealers in leicester) My mate changed it for me and only charged me £70.00! Is that good? Oh yeah, g12 coolant from dealers £6.78(1.5l):D
