Well i ordered the ATP GT28RS kit on Monday, and it arrived yesterday.

It's only roughly bolted up at the mo.

I'm still in the process of getting some service bits in, headset, cambelt etc etc.

Still a lot of tidying to do, but making progress.

Here's some pics.

looks handy.
the turbo sticks out the back a long way.... you have enough bulkhead clearance you think to clear?
Hope it fits as well in the engine bay as it does on the engine stand.

Good delivery from them tho. :thumbup:

How do you rate their v-band welding, as some vortexers reported and posted some very distorted weldments.

What are you using to run the engine? mapping or standalone?

The guys fitting the lump don't seem to think they're be much of a problem, but we'll see! DP will obviously have to be modded to fit the MK3, but it's all good fun.

The V Band welding seems to be fine. There is one small area in the top section of the DP that needs a little attention but apart from that, impressed with the kit.

Going to be running standalone, either DTA or Emerald, but haven't decided which yet.

Just as a comparison...

My compressor nearly touches the brake lines running across the baulkhead on my ibiza, which is'nt dissimilar engine bay size as mk3 golf (same subframe)

Hope it all works out well. :thumbup:

ATP GT28RS transverse kit. (Not Eliminator)

* Turbo
* Manifold
* DP assembly (MK4 fitment, so will need modding)
* Intake pipe
* Silicon hoses and joiner
* Oil Lines
* Coolant Lines
* All nuts, bolts, gaskets

No ecu software. I'm going standalone so no bother to me.

Nope..... that's why it's going to hit hard against the brake servo

Have they worked out how to get around it yet? LHD conversion......?

hey! good install i hope all goes to plan!!!

yep i have an eliminator, its stock location and uses a stock like manifold (atp high flow) and the stock DP (In my case a miltek high flow car and DP)

this setup is much prefered over the eliminator (but a much harder insall!) but now my elim is installed it is allot better than the k03s should be good for around 310 to 320 i think.

i still need to tweek it and get it mapped!

due to the restriction in the hot side the eliminators wont make 350 as quoted i dont think, but its good enough for me!

good luck with this project mate! your good for 350+ bhp

Not a lot of news over how they've overcome the manifold / turbo / downpipe problem yet though.

Moving the brake servo is not easy as your feet do need to be at least on the same side of the car unless you like a flexy pedal
