Fitting to LCR ????

I have done the searches and cannot get any concrete guides/tips.

Robdons has gone, and unsure where too

I have fitted into A Pillar Pods.

Extended all wires.

Where is the grommet for the Oil Temp Sender wire and the Boost pipe to go through on the LCR Drivers side???

How do I get to the ignition live???

Or is ther a better live to go to eg ciggy lighter???

I didnt receive any destructions with gauges as 2nd hand but I have
2 gauges
2 Short Black (-)
2 Short Red ( Perm +)
2 Short Orange (ignition +)

1 Long Black (- for Sender)
1 Long Red (Perm + for Sender)
1 Long Green (to Sender)

Thanks for all help guys

I took the live from the rear of the light switch that powers the dash lights.

There is a wiring loom that is under the scuttle trim - thats where my boost pipe and oil temp wires go.

Boost pipe then goes to teh fpr and the oil sender is down by the filter.

Take the live off the fused dash light display from the fuse box and there is a sturdy ground point behind the drivers plastic kick cover next to pedals.

Your a star mate. Thanks You, but how did you get boost pipe through that small grommet???

Just pulled it through by pasing a coat hanger through from engine bay first then just tickle it and pull ;)

The diagram for the oil temp sensor are not quite correct. The sensor i had supplied had 2 wires out not one like it shows.

So as per diagram earth the black wire from the gauge as it shows and also connect it to the black wire from the sensor. And connect the rest as shown.

I have finished my gauges.
Wired lives to the light adjustment switch
Earthed to body (behind dash)
Ran boost pipe through grommet, under scuttle panel and into dump valve pipe.
All working (except i need to fit the oil tmp sender) but I have a problem

When fitting the T peice into the dump valve pipe, I turned my 007P round to the correct way (I previously had it backwards making a squeeking noise)

I then get in and start the car 1 hour later and my engine management light is on.
