Hi all just got back from Lap-Tab in Birmingham where I had my LCR wheels powder coated in shadow chrome. What can I say it’s a long day (6am to 3pm) but what a brilliant service! They have a few racks of old alloys wheels in most of there popular colours so you can actually see what the finish article will look like (as it’s difficult to see from a photo).
I had 5 alloys stripped from the car inc tyres, powder coated and then re fitted with new tyres onto the car and all for under £400 which I think is a bloody bargain really when you see the quality of the old LCR alloys.
Im over the moon with how they have turned out as there dark but not too dark so you can’t see the shape of the alloy. And they really suit the ovni colour IMHO.
Before
After
Photos really don’t do them justice as there far better in the real light. Getting all my engine bay chrome stripped out to be done in the same colour in the next few weeks! Can’t wait!
Hope you like the Pics
