Heated washer jets - fitting/wiring ?

There seems to be quite a bit of interest on fitting heated washer jets at the moment, so thought I'd see what info is around with regards to fitting.

First off, I've found a wiring diagram which shows how the factory-fitted washer jets are wired up.
It's on page 17 of 32 here (index is in Spanish, but look for "Surtidores lavaparabrisas calefactados" :)

Z20 and Z21 are the heated jets and T2o/T2n are the connectors on them.
D/15 I think is the ignition switch (D is anyway).

Anyone know how to interpret the rest of the diagram ?

Specifically these numbers:
B135
C14
167

Also - the location of these connectors:
T2e (2 wire connector)
T6b (6 wire connector)

If I could find out where these 2 connectors are I should be able to work out where to connect the heated jet loom up.

I used to understand these diagrams from my Golf days but I can't work it out now.

B135, C14 and 167 are internal connections in the wiring harness. B135 and C14 being lives of some description and 167 and earth.

T2e wil be the plug on the washer jet itself

And I think T6 will be a connector in the bulkhead wiring block behind the wiper motor assembley.

If T6 is what I think it is then its a right PITA to get to. You really need to get into both sides of it to wire through it and that means half the bleeding dash needs to come out. Personally if I was doing them myself id find another way around.

OK cheers techie.

From what I remember in ETKA, the washer jets come with a loom with a connector on the end, I assuming that would be T2e. Whether the mating half of this is available, or whether another T6<->T2e cable needs adding, I'm not sure.

66, looks like an earth point

B135 , on the mk4 golf fella there is a switched live busbar below the fuse box with relays n connections on it , this is known as 75X this could be B135 looks similar

the letters on the drawing , ro, thats rojo, red in english, so thats 12V+

BR im not sure about , tho its on the negative side of things, the numbers 1.1.5, 4 etc with these numbers seems like the gauge of wire used

A15 and C14 relays????

this is just my opinions of this , but it kinda makes sense (to me anyhow) i have etka so will have a look on that

am going to dealers to moro will ask to see there tech manuals

hope this helps

next time get it in english,

Cheers Stoney

If you could post up the page showing the heated jets, pipework & loom with all the part numbers I'd be grateful.

That's the diagram I was after. It shows the loom but not the heated jets themselves.
At the top of the picture is one wire that connects somewhere in the car, and the washer pipe that disappears off to the washer bottle somehow.

The bottom half (below the big grommet thing) is all inside the bonnet.
EDIT: The number "3"s are the connectors to the heated jets.

What we need to know is where connector "4" on the diagram connects to in the car :)

Cheers, think the wiring's going to be trickier than the piping though - can always just cut'n'join the pipe with an inline connector if need be.
EDIT: LOL yeah, seen those wiring pics before, spent ages at work one day trying to figure out where it all went !!
