As it goes ive just ordered one of these last night.

Im getting all the stuff together to re-route my intercooler pipework.
hopeing to mount it somwhere in the wing similar to how RobbieC done his.
IIRC some people have used the mk3-4 golf one.

to remove the old one you have to unclip 3 pipes then undo 3 bolts jiggle it and swear a bit its not too bad had to take mine off the other day to clean it out bout 30 mins all together out and back in
not sure how easy it is to mount a different one thou

Im guessing you gain access to the said botls from under the car. or can you do it from the bay.?
Mountings the new ones easy good old zip ties.

1 bolt that holds a carrier for the 3 pipes near the bulkhead and 2 bolts near the headlight
pull the pump out and unclip it and i think u have to pop an air pipe off just to make it abit easier to get the bottle out

Thats just how im going to be setting up my intercooler pipework.
After it goes down the frot of the car past the washer bottle what hoses and pipes etc did you need to join it upto the cooler.?
just fo you i shall p34ch3y i shall take a better pic for over the week end and for s1l3nc3r the front bumper is coming off this weekend so can take some photos of how it has been routed after it has gone down past the washer bottle and what bends have been used all the metal pipe is the universal intercooler set that are on ebay

now this realy dos look like what i need ,
one more thing bud and perhapps one more pic
you see on kyle87 pic there are two holes ,now the top hole i need to mount a forge catch tank in here dose that bottle come over the top hole?
chris by the way what year a mk4 modle is it off mate?

not sure on what year it came from i bought it at vw festival last year all i know is it is from a mk4 golf. will have a look later about the holes i know i bolted it down using the hole at the front
