When adjusting the right hand mirror the left hand mirror moves as well.. Only just noticed this and not sure if it's normal or not..

Anyone else get this? Is it normal?

Thanks

I'll give that a go... She goes into the garage tomorrow for a couple of days so I'll mention it to them and see what they say about it.....

It is the factory default.

You can adjust the setting.
If you can access the convenience menu follow below

To enter the convenience menu:-

Turn on ignition (do not start the car)
On the right hand stalk. hold in the top rocker switch at the end (trip) for 5 seconds
Navigate down to setup by using the same rocker switch and then the rest button on the underside of the stalk to select
Navigate to convenience and select
Then navigate to mirrors You should then be able to choose if you adjust them individually or together
Get out of the menu by repeatedly selecting back then MFD (or whatever you prefer) to exit

fair enough, you can turn it off, but it is supposed to do it and I've always found it very useful.

To set the mirrors to your desired angle. First adjust the right mirror, this does move them both but anyway. . .

adjust right mirror till it is in the correct position. then adjust the left. when adjusting the left, it adjusts the left ONLY, therefore leaving the right one in the desired postition whilst adjusting the left.

NOW

when you can reverse parking, just move the right mirror downwards, then BOTH move down so you can clearly see the gap/lines/curb that you are parking next to and you don't have to bother moving them both down individually . . .

then move it up, they both move back up and hey presto!!!

hope that helps

Shame with all these settings it doesn't flip nearside mirror down when you engage reverse for easy parking, always a pain when parking in my narrow street!
