Tools required
Philips screwdriver or small torx head, small self tapping screws, sandpaper, small spanner*
Use the philips head screw driver to remove the 3 screws on the top of the grill.I've seen torx screws used on other mk2 Ibizas
We need to remove the indicators in order to unclip the grill. Where the green arrow points is a clip. Push this in and push the indicator outwards
......and it should pop out without any problems.
N.B - to fix the indicator back in, line up correctly and push firmly until you hear it clip back in
Usea small spanner to loosen the nut behind the point marked in green. Once loosened, the side clip will lift up and free
This is probably the trickest part of removing the grill. You won't be able to see this small clip until the grill is off, so take care not to actually snap the grill as these clips are located on a weak section. Use a screw driver or to lift from underneath and pull towards you. There are 3 of these clips along the lenth of the grill.
.....this is one of the areas the clip is located. Also one in the middle.
You need to scrape the melted plastic away on all the join spots. The old section should lift off easily.
.....as you can see, the fit is not flush straight away, so we need to sand the joins down...
It's simply the case of using the self tapping screws through the join points in the back of the grill.
++++++++++++++++++++
N.B - you will need very short self tapping screws for the top section!!!! The lower screws need not be so short, but please be careful not to go through the front of the grill by using screws which are too long.

Once all screws are secure ....should look like this
