After 2 and a half years of searching I was browsing ebay last week and there she was my old Cantabrian Blue 16v cordy :D

Obviously the deal was done quicker than you can say "buy it now" and today I got the train up to Derby to meet Andyj to drive up to Liverpool to go get her :funk: :funk: Big thanks to Andy for coming up with me

In the last 4 years the car has only done 14k :D

All my mods are still there, chrome door pins, meshed 16v grille, debadged, painted plug lead guides. Even the bolts in the boot that used to hold my sub box in are still there

The car needs a whole lot of TLC. The engine bay and bodywork are filthy so no pics yet, I'm gonna spend the day polishing tomorrow and will get pics then. Also a respray is on the cards to get rid of all the dings and scratches :D

Pics tomorrow when she's presentable [B)]

Those sneak pics of a Mazda 323 4x4 Turbo in the back of Techies garage brought back memories of the first car I truely loved (well, you know what I mean). So, 'xcuse the ramble, but I know where you're coming from.

You should have seen his face when we drove down the street and he spotted her parked up..... was like a kid at Xmas !!! ;) ;)

Glad you made it back on last night, that M6 being closed at J17 was a bit of a nightmare!

Will have a look on t'internet now and see what it was.....

Well so far I've found 3 problems. The car needs a new tyre, has an oil leak, and a small fuel leak. Both seem to happen when you give her some stick. I'm pretty sure the fuel leak is at the join under the air intake hose as there looks to be a little bit there. It's only a small amount though so I think one of the joins isn't tight enough.

Oil leak... well I think thats the same one it had when I sold the car so I need to figure out what that is, I hit the bottom of the engine with degreaser and then washed it off so I can figure out where it's coming from.

Last problem is a bulge in the front passenger side tyre. Sure it wasn't there in liverpool so need a tyre on there. Then again I'm getting new wheels soon anyway :D

Pics in a minute, need to get them off the memory card ;)

And then some work on the exterior later and she looks like this... Note the photos don't show up all the dings, stone chips, slapped on touch up and scratches
