Think that was me that bought those spacers gav, bargain of a price.... well happy!!!!

Got a set of longer locking bolts and 16 longer wheel bolts for £54. The extra bolts came in handy when i fitted the new wheels as ended up needing 5-6mm longer bolts on the front aswell.

Now I've got some 17s I'm not sure how far I can lower it though.

Without longer bolts 20mm spacers won't even latch on a thread with standard bolts they would be 9mm short of hub. And 15mm spacers would still be 4mm short of the hub. The standard bolts stick out the back of standard wheels by 17mm, 6mm of this taken by disc thickness, so there is circa 10-11mm in the hub.

If aftermarket alloys are fitted I'd check how far standard bolts stick out the back of the wheels, mine were only 12mm out of the back (5mm less than standard wheels), which equates to half as many threads in the hub hence my need for longer wheel bolts in the front wheels aswell.

I wanna get spacers for my ibiza and i've got 17"s so is that gonna be a problem??

Depends if your cars lowered and by how much, also depends on offset of wheels.

I'm currently running 20mm spacers with 17's, wheel offset ET35 and 205/40/17 tyres. It is on standard cupra suspension though, need to get it lowered.

if you are running the correct offset then on 17's you should be able to get away with 10-15mm spacers.

im looking into some 10mm's as ive got wider tyres but you'll see when you slam it.....lol

Fitted my 20mm spacers and some Seat mudflaps yesterday, thought I'd post the picures here rather than create a new thread. I fitted Fk spacers that I bought from GSF's website as they are offering 15% discount. I got the ones that bolt to my hub rather than using longer bolts so I could use my existing locking wheel nuts. They have steel threaded inserts as well, a lot stronger than aluminuim threads.

I haven't driven it yet so cannot comment on the handling, but the car looks a lot better. As for cost they were £84 delivered and took about 3 weeks.

I don't know how low you can go as I am currently on standard suspension. I might get some fat people to sit in it later and check the clearance.
