Is that an alpine head unit btw? I had the same problem with codes too when I got mine ha.

Curse of a black car mate, shows every flaw, mines black too haha. Looks in good condition in your pics though.

Haha yeah good man, saw the sun today...I know right. My little beast has been off the road for the last 6 months, a lot of work and money has been pumped into it, really need to do a readers ride haha.

Did you get yours recent?

Check out silver metallizer plastidip btw mate, makes normal black plastidip look sick.

Yeah it is, I got it on sale and the red buttons suit the lights on the inside.

I've had the car 2 years now this week. I pumped a grand into it last year, a coil pack went, then the ECU decided to to wreak my engine. I really love the car which is what made me pump the money into her. Got a few things to jazz up the interior so watch this space.

Yeah look at the rear bumper, someone fixed it up for me and made a :censored: outa it but I'l get it fixed soon

Yeah looks good mate, great sound quality out of alpine units too.

Ouch sounds painful :S least she's still going though!

Will do man. Rear bumper looks okay in the pics mate, is it the boot lip you are referring to?

Yeah it was painful but at the same time, she has a full history and I'd spend alot more on a car I know nothing about and most likely never seen outa 3rd gear haha

Alpine is awesome, the difference it has made and I do like my musik

My last car was a financial write off and I didnt even know about it until I was trying to sell it and I wasnt gona be caught out like that again.

It was scratched at work and a guy I worked with said, I can fix that so he did and it looked ok but when the sun came out I was like :wtf: But anyways I got a quote thats very reasonable to fix it and another few wee things so cant complain too much.

what is it your driving?

Ah man, that sucks. Don't blame you! Can't trust anyone now days, my first car (battered up old corsa, which I loved) was part of a insurance fraud scheme, got the fookers done for it though, so results :)

At least it has all worked out in the end mate, hopefully it'll be how you want it when its touched up!

I drive a cupra mate, absolutely love it, fell in love with it when I test drove it, now I am addicted with making it better...

Was slightly annoyed though, the car was pretty much immaculate when I got it, within a month some drove around the front of it and didn't leave a note, so its left a nice rub, scratch patch on the corner of my front bumper, and then it decided to drive it's self into a lamp post a week later...:wtf: (Cowboy mechanics) I do all my own work normally, but got done as part of a deal when I brought it.

I won't even go into the hassle I had with the garage I brought it off when I first got it...need to do a readers ride just for its story haha. Other than that, its bullet proof, its just crappy car mechanics that let me down.

Probably should expand how it drove it's self into a lamp post haha. The hand brake let go, and it rolled backwards....only left a tiny ding thankfully, I screamed when I came back to it in the car park and it wasn't where I parked it, but half way across the car park...."Bat man voice" "WHERE IS SHE?"

Got into a good habit of parking it in gear now!

Dont get me started about mechanics who are coyboys!
Now dont get me wrong I have a new mechnic and hes great, knows his stuff and helps alot.

Yeah I always park in gear, just a habit I've had from the start.

Love to see the Cupra man
