You might not believe it, but Cupra Ordered! - and is here!

Back from the dead
as for the armrest the one i installed is the leather one which is amazingly suitable to the interior!if you really into quick shifting all the time it may get in the way just a little bit,but if you are 65%cruising and 35%racing then the armrest is amazing:) :) QUOTE]

Thank you, I will order the armrest now :drive1:

I have the armrest and its fantastic for cruising, but when I have it down for some reason if I drive quickly I find I am short throwing 3rd gear. Doesn't happen in any other gear but I've crunched 3rd 5 times now. Maybe its just my incompetence, but that said its worth it.

Stock surplus, basically they built too many cars, so they are having a few days of no production so the books balance. And it was this week, last day today, back to work on Monday.

Bah ..........

And your thoughts were?????

I'm cancelling my order.

Not :p

I was the first person to drive the car and the dealer wanted me to take it steady. We went up and down a dual carriageway and that was it.

Didn't get to see what the car can do. Brakes are fierce - which we know, but also were new so wouldn't have bedded in.

Bit of an anti-climax due to the lack of good drive, but I've driven one at least.

Looking forward to having my own to do with it what I wish :cheeky:

My dealer called me today and said that my Cupra is here! Woohoo! It takes a week before I get it tho (paper work). I was told that my Cupra is the first one registered in Finland, if we do not count the demo/press cars.

LOL. I mean with the R I could spend up to 4 hours with all the swissol kit etc.

Ah them were the days, now i'm lucky if it's twice a year - seriously, and we've got another baby on the way, so if i were you i'd get silver and be done with it.

Is that your old car is for sale on PH - snazzy pics in multi storey car park ?

I may be jumping back to the LCR after a 3 years break

Silver already on order Leo. :)

Yes that's my car on PH. I sold it January last year. It's up for sale again. A very good example and fully loaded kit.

Back to an R? Not going for the new Cupra then?

no chance, it's a matter of simple arithmetic for me, unless Bickets sort me out with deal of the century.

i think if i go back to LCR mk1 it'll be red or platinum, but it's pie in the sky right now. Got to sort a few things out first.

mk2 Cupra is the only one i'd be after.

Look forward to seeing/hearing all the new owners plans for modding though, you never know in a year or so i might have one.

Cool. You know the R makes sense ;) You'll be happy with the space. We've been missing it with littlun who's two now - running two ibizas.

Hmmmmm.....

yeah the space is defo needed on those trips that you stay away over night, a lot of kit and not a lot of space in the boot in ibizas.

I really like it in that colour, but the camera angle makes its ass bigger than J-LO's !!!!!
