Will be refitting the last a lifetime RUBBER ones I had on my mk1 for nearly 10yrs at some point this week.
COST ZERO..... even had some nice SEAT Logos fitted to them & they have never moved...

Dunno what planet SEAT are on for even discounted parts at around £100 for four OEM ones.

Which at an inch or so under the car wont do much good.

£20 max there worth....

Pix to follow... each make there own minds up...

But in the Countryside you need something to protect the lower arches & up the sides of your sills n doors...

hi all, first post, here goes :)

picked up my 280 on sunday, had flaps added as id seen them on an FR at the time of ordering but during the fit the dealer said they could only be installed on the front. rear flaps weren't available as the mounting points and bumper shape were different. however looking at jaba101's photo they're fitted??? i looked at some under body photo's on Milltek's website. the bumper shape and fixing points on the FR do look slightly different to the Cupra but now wondering if i should jump back to the dealer waving jaba's picture in their face.

hi, thanks for replying and the link

was there a reason why you chose flaps for "rear SC and 5 door" over "rear FR SC and 5 door"?

dealer installed was £85 for the set, front and rear, so i need to check with my contact point how much i was charged for just the front flaps as i chose not to have the overpriced Lifeshine package and instead used it's cost on click&go accessories. if they've charged the full price then i'm out of pocket by a couple of rear flaps which should be fitted free once i've told them about yours.

I'm assuming the FR rear bumper is different, but I'd also assume that the Cupra one is too!

Hi Mate I bought mine here as there another cheaper and are still OEM just chose the correct one for you model mines a five door so rear SC and 5 door http://www.caraccessoriesplus.co.uk/product/seat-leon-mud-flaps-9928-1.html
You save about £30 over the dealership price

Thanks for posting the link Jaba - You went for the rear non-FR version of the flaps didn't you? How did you know which ones to go for?

I called them first and that's the part number that matched

OK cool, it's odd - I've checked with 3 separate dealers all who tell me the Cupra has front mud flaps available but not rears! Which is why I assumed Raven only had fronts, but you cancelled that theory out with your post and pic

So to be clear, for the Cupra you order :

Seat Leon Mud Flaps
Option: FRONT ALL MODELS
E5F0075111

Seat Leon Mud Flaps
Option: REAR SC & 5 DOOR MODLES
E5F0075101

*DO NOT ORDER THE FR REARS PART E5F0075101B

Is this right?

until i saw jaba's picture that's what i'd been led to believe also. the accessories guide only lists the cupra having access to flaps for the front (#5F0075111) and nothing for the rear so im guessing the technician fitting them just assumed there weren't any.

thanks jaba and Rob for confirming which rear set to order

before i go in gun's blazing at the dealers, can it be confirmed that the rear's are a direct fit, using (i presume) the torx fixings already in place, without modification of either the flap or wheel arch? ie i want to prove that the technician could've fitted them if he'd been bothered to check. ta :)

Anyone Knows if i can refit my front mudflaps if i decide to buy oem sidescirts for cupra?

im not in a position to say definitely not but based on the feedback of one of the dealer reps who owned a Mk3 FR with body kit, they won't. the reason i've replied is because i was considering the performance pack and i asked the same question

the only difference i can see is that the lower edge of the bodywork where the flap fits has a slight inward curve which becomes more square when a skirt is fitted. if you take a look at jaba's caraccessories link the flap is contoured to the body and that's where you may have a problem.

Hi, this is my first reply so here goes.
Just bought FR 184 had mud flaps fitted a bit of a waste of £180 to short and not wide enough. So be warned. Had them on my last 2007 FR and they were a lot better longer and wider, they did what they should do.
If you look on ebay there are some that will fit and a bit cheaper if you do realy want them.

Good luck

ok, so a little heads-up and an answer to my question - No, the 5F0075101 rear's are not a direct fit.

The contour of the flap around the bumper and the lower mounting hole under the bumper are a perfect match however the two wheel arch liner screws don't line up at all, around 7-10mm out. i shall be modifying the flaps to fit the holes rather than making new holes in the liner but that'll be for another day. if i can attach pictures on here by then i will.

the flaps may be short but they're definitely worth it (although at a cheaper price elsewhere.) i noticed the smoothness of the paint had become a little rough along the lower leading edge and side area of the bumper, where it's in direct fire from the tyre. i blame the incessant and pointless grit spreading around here at the moment. it's polished out ok and is smooth again but i've concerns that if this can happen after 5 days of ownership then over time this area might suffer badly and become chipped and pitted without any protection.

and hello Steve, im a newbie too :)

hi, i don't have a signature yet, as a newbie im not trusted with those privileges :)

i have a 2015 280 5-door

Ah same as me :)

That's weird then, cos Jabba has the same ones and were a direct fit (previous post in this thread).

I'm actually going to grab a set. But I do wonder if the FR ones are a better fit? Although I think someone else has checked and the bumper shape looks different, so more of an issue than misaligned screw holes.

Blooming Seat, don't make it easy do they!!!
