I asked him if he can take pics, if he takes then I'll show them here too. ;)

I was canceled the H7 led bulbs cause of the idea of using high beam reflector for its own purpose, but it seems some disassembling job needs to be done to do so. So that I am thinking of reordering it again.

Thanks! :)

the part just below the projector which painted to matte black is can be detached, so it can get painted ;)

Don't cook your headlights btw, be careful with oven :) heat gun can also help making it easier (and possible) to detach the lens ;)

sometimes I feel like my english sux. Technical issues are hard to talk about when it is not in your native language :)

Today I tried an OEM ballast to see if it raises bulb failure, it didn't :) Will be using OEM (probably Koito) ballasts. 7 days later, at these times, if everything goes ok she'll have new eyes :)

thanks, it'll look better when they are in the place where they should to be :)

got the H7 led bulbs by the way, pity that couldn't try them yet.

Will use Philips 85122 bulbs, which start 4300k and shift to 5000k after some time they have been used. This is called as "color-shift". Philips bulbs will be second hand, I guess I'll get them close to 5000k.

I had the same problem. Had a twin halogen headlights. But stilll didnt have enought of light to see safety. I desided to upgrade to hid. I didnt use mormal hid kits because the projectors are not made for them and and would blind others. So i order a d2s additoional projector in to low beam headlight as u did. Unbelivebely lots of work . Had a big problem to take off the glass and them glue it back. Still getting some condensation in to it. Thinking about go for original valeo hid but the price is about 370£ each with no blast and no afs senzors . Or maybe for original twin valeo for 87£ each and redo it again.

only ballasts cost nearly £300 a pair, if you want new ones. You could take the lens off with heat, hope you didn't cut it. If your projectors are solid yet, then you may go for it IMO :)

Now waiting for the delivery.. Only 3 days left, if nothing bad happens. :)

Finally today it is done.

Pics are taken with N900, which takes sh**ty pics at night. Detailed ones will come soon, I hope.

Bumper has been taken off to replace headlights.

It has;
Koito gen4 ballasts
Philips 85122 D2S 4300k bulbs
Led H7 bulbs as "daylight"
Mtec MT-273 led bulb as sidelight.

My sidelights are always on, due to lack of light at dashboard when sun is up :) So, connected them to sidelights, they work as daylight.

Currently led H7 and led sidelights colours don't match, sidelight glows more blueish than h7, but will keep them I guess. D2S' colour does not match too. It is at nearly 4300k at the moment, they'll color-shift to around 5000k as I use them.

There is one more option for h7, I can use them with high beam, they can be parallel connected just like parking lights, socket is ready to do it, just plug and play job to do.
