thats a bad idea, under revving an engine is very bad for it and i would say 40 in sixth is under revving.
i use 6th alot for cruising at anything above about 55 unless im booting when i dont get in to 6th till i hit 120
Exactly 6th doesn't get used unless on a 60mph run, anythin below this and the car just doesn't like it!
anythin round 40 in 6th is a bit too much for the clutch!

Don't use 6th unless I'm doing more than 70mph.

120 in south wales.........the camera nazis will have you for breakfast........... i nearly got N.I.P on the A470........iv got some good brakes tho
yeah especially with all this in the media about people filming them selves speeding then putting it on u-tube

I've driven plenty of cars where the top gear is an 'overdrive' gear - I really don't think that applies on the Leon. 6th is nicely spaced aboove 5th and a natural progression through the box.
Oh yeah i know its all in good humour but you dont know what repercussions there could be for you if that got into the wrong hands
I usually put it into 6th at about 50-55 on 60roads or 65-70~ when joining motorways/dual carriageways. Have driven with in 6th at 40 without realising in heavy traffic on dual carriageways and it was surprisingly quick to pick up speed...doubt teh clutch liked it though 
So what if they're monitored. Posting videos of yourself breaking the speed limit is one thing, saying you did 100mph on the motorway on here is another.

Guys, DON'T punch it at 40 in sixth. My clutch is on it's way out (50k miles) and im pretty sure driving like that hasn't helped it!
