To be fair, Scott's car is new enough that you wouldn't expect to need a new battery. And if it does, then better to let someone else do it (free of charge).Should have bought a diesel. Beefy batteries.
Sounds like something is still running on the car when the ignition is off, something more than usual or the alternator. Did you do that one at school with your fingers about generators and motors. I'd do that one to the technician. Faraday's law... coming back now

New cars seem to have battery issues. Stop start doesn't help. Hybrids don't do the mileage often on the engine running to charge the starter battery. Common issue with people doing the school run or station run. Anyhow not that one since it's not a Hybrids.
The other moan with new cars is you can't change the battery yourself without taking the car apart. Trusts yours isn't like that.
If it's not just a battery problem, then at least the Assist folk might identify - and hopefully fix - any underlying issue too.
Probably just a duff battery.
