Hi guys,

I'm back in the Mk2 Ibiza gang again !!! ;)

Bought a Copper Mk2 Ibiza on EBay last night, and picking it up tonight :D

Some of you may have seen it on there......

Needless to say it was a bit of a bargain. I just need to sort out a few 'niggly' problems, and it'll be good as new :D

Will get some pictures up when I get back from Spain next weekend !!!! ;)

Nice one Andy - let's hope the niggly problems are a bit more easily resolved that those you've had with your last ebay bargain, eh? And if they ain't, you know there'll always be people to advise at your #1 source for SEAT information...

I know the one you mean i think was it the 60k idling fault with no service history car?

If it was i am pretty sure it was the idle stabilization valve on it because its meant to get cleaned on services.

Got my aye on an 8v on ebay at the mo, see what i can get it for

nowt wrong with 8v's keep up with 16's much better than the figures suggest in my experience, plus not as much ragging required. Then to top it off theres that deep throaty noise they make around 1.5k mark.

Damn i want another now

May I ask how much it was?

Recently got a copper 8v cupra gti myself with different niggly problems which are mostly sorted now at little expense (except theres a dent in the front wing that needs repairing). Cost me £500 with full service history but fairly with miles.

Grrrr...

Just spoke to the guy about the V5, and he's said that he's sent off for a new one, but will take 3-4 weeks before he gets it back.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait a little longer before I get to pick it up !!! Grrr !!!!

HPI Check has come back clear, which is reassuring. But don't think I'll take the risk.

Will just wait til he gets the V5, and then pick it up. Will check chassis & engine numbers match the V5 and HPI report 1st though ;)

Watch this space...... ;)
