OK, so, lets imagine that the k03s is not a worthwhile upgrade for the money, and I wanted to get the absolute last ounce out of the K03, would the following be sufficient, if I have missed anything please let me know...

Dynatwist CAI
Forge 007P
SAMCO TIP (What is this? Turbo-Intercooler pipe?)
2.75 or 3" Downpipe
De-cat 3" system and Back box
REVO
Boost controller????

Anything I've missed? I'll probably do performance leads and plugs as well anyway, plus braided brake lines and uprated discs and pads, not to mention the obligatory coilovers...

Also, with those above, would I be ready to reap the (however small) benefits from the K03s if I decided to go for it, or would the FMIC also then be essential kit?

performance leads... lol

even if the 20VT used them (and it doesn't) I wouldn't recomend them as they're marketing bollocks.

TIP is Turbo Intake Pipe, its the pipe that bolts to the inlet side of your turbo and its design is very restrictive, the KO3s requires a larger TIP although for cheapness a leon one will fit and its about £45 from the dealers otherwise Samco and Neuspeed do one which is about £120-£140 I think.

Ive got a forge TIP on my cupra, im having the k03s fitted in a couple of weeks. As far as i was aware i thought the same TIP fitted both turbos? Or have i missed somthing?

234bhp and 280lbs for how much more money?

Doesnt seem worth it to me.

From a standard cupra it costs, and change where i've got it wrong...

£700 FMIC
£250-400 KO3s
£500 remap
£450 3"downpipe and race cat
£145 tip
£45 Fitting Kit
£?? fitting, 4bpr?, injectors?

So far its 2k for lets say 240bhp, when you can get 200 from a standard remap on a Ko3.

So for another 1k ish you can get 350bhp from IHI or otherwise.

Worth it?

again, not about the BIG number Phil, its about peak figures, or indeed holding the power further up the rev range

Messer I would opt for the K03s, anymore power than a well modified K03s IMO is just a waste and unuseable

go for the turbo, as stated you are on a budget as this is the "best" option

**EDIT** - Just realised how old this thread is! wtf lol!
