ABS light still on even after changing sensor

Hi Guys, my ABS light came on recently on my 2011 Seat Ibiza. I scanned it with VCDS and got an error code for the front right wheel speed sensor. (1st picture in attached video)

I tried to fix it by replacing the sensor with the one shown in the 2nd picture in the video but the abs light is still on and the sensor still isn't giving any readings to the car for wheel speed.

The tutorial video (1st clip in the attached video) I watched said to check the connector for the sensor with a multimeter to see if it was giving around 12v. When I checked it said 0v. (2nd clip in attached video)

What can I do to fix this, do I need a whole new abs /wheel speed cable? If I do, where can I find them as I've tried looking online but can't find anything.

I'd think that you'll need to check the wiring from the wheel sensor back to the controller, and repair any degraded/broken wires.

If doing that does not reveal any problems, it might mean getting the controller tested and if faulty, repaired.

Just to be clear, when you plugged the new sensor into the car's cable, the fault immediately returned after clearing it?

Just making sure, when you say controller do you mean this?

Once I cleared the fault, I drove about 100m and then the fault returned. I tried clearing it two more times and the light kept coming back on within a couple of minutes.

I'd go with @cairus on this one and check the reluctor ring, then the wiring for damage
These cars don't have a reluctor ring as such, what they have is a magnetic strip bonded onto the inner face of the wheel bearing assembly, so if this is faulty typically it will have swollen with corrosion and will start to contact the "finger" of the ABS wheel speed sensor and wear through it and trash the ABS sensor, when that happens, you must replace the wheel hub/bearing assembly and the ABS sensor, but replacing just that sensor will always remove the fault condition and it will only return when the new sensor gets worn through like the previous one, and end up presenting a short circuit to the ABS controller channel input.

Clearing the faults and them staying away until you have driven the car points to either the wiring to the controller or the controller itself.

Edit:- I'd think that if you attempt to clean the magnetic strip, which will be tricky as the drive shaft will need to be removed from the hub, you will not achieve much as the magnetic strip, which is a series of small magnetic areas on that strip, which can only be "read" or checked with a specific strip to give you a visual indication of the presence of magnetic areas around it, you will at best do nothing, at worst, damage that fragile magnetic strip.

Yes, but if it ends up being the controller, it will be a better idea to get your controller repaired as doing that will give you a "plug and play" solution, buying a same part number same firmware number used controller will mean that you will need to recode it to suit your car probably.
