its only taken me 6 years but finally made some updates under the bonnet!! Lower engine cover & Racingline turbo elbow/pipewww.vwroc.com
From what I can make out online the cover comes with the ball joint and grommet to screw into the manifold to hold it in place.
Looks a lot tidier than the bare inlet manifold.
Might order one when I'm back home next week...

Here is a pic of my before and after, the oem shifter is horrible and doesn't even say dsgReplaced the DSG shift knob. The black interior could use a little spice, and this was exactly what it needed.
More pics + end result in my RR:

Performed spark plug change and went with Bosch OEM replacements. The spark plugs looked ok to me, but the 2 middle ones had some soot on them. After swapping them out, the engine feels just that little bit smoother. I used a very light coat of ceramic paste on the outside, to keep the coil boot...www.seatcupra.net

You are a bad man, I love the OEM look of that R600 setup!
Postage not included, but they are my local dealer, and the car's going in for it's MOT on Monday so will pick it up then, along with the funnel washer bottle filler cap.Didn't think of trying them, did that include postage?
It has been a very long time since I had the R600 but from memory its the same as stock from a noise perspective. You are a bad man, I love the OEM look of that R600 setup!
I'm in the middle of upgrading my rubber fetish and mask-wearing gear at the moment (see my avatar for avoidance of ambiguity!), specifically the air supply, so would need to choose between lungs or combustion chambers if I were too tempted by the R600
In all seriousness, how much louder is the R600 over stock? I like the quietness of the standard setup as I do long motorway journeys, so wouldn't want a racing theme tune or drone when cruising, but would like a little more 'excitement' when putting the hammer down. And, does it offer any real performance improvements over stock? My intention is to go Stage 1 remap when the car's out of warranty, so am guessing this would be a complimentary piece of hardware?
Thanks,
Nick
