That sounds like too much good sense...haha
Another thing of note:

Your bonnet pull cable junction is missing its cover, this could cause you issues opening the bonnet

They're under a fiver so worth getting. Part number 6R0823347

I spotted it missing on a good friends car recently after we had issues opening his bonnet and he said that he had issues previously due to that cover being missing and the cable moving.

Here is a pic of the junction with the cover on

I went for 2254018. The ride on 18" is so much better. The 19s were awful
I didn’t notice much difference going from 19 to 18 to be honest… Potholes here in the UK are horrendous. Councils just aren’t repairing the roads. 😡

Aliexpress haul installed

Put some stickers on the door sills to protect and look a bit nicer. Metal silver stick on plates on the flat section and a ‘carbon’ effect on the curved part. May not be everyone’s cup of tea but I like them.

Added a battery cover and funnel style washer fluid cap. The washer cap can't work miracles though, it's better than the original but a full funnel is still necessary.

Added the obligatory dynamic indicators and gloss black mirror covers. The gloss black covers are spot on. Easy install, just be careful with the clips on the covers but that goes without saying. I like how bright the indicators are compared to the originals, unfortunately the first set I bought the left indicator didn't work, I got a refund and had to wait a few weeks for another set to arrive.

Battery cover arrived yesterday (paid £11 from eBay), and fits a treat - I like that it physically clips to the battery and the removable panel to access the positive terminal is a nice touch.

Just looking at your photos, I can see the battery sleeve poking out on the right hand side - this happened with mine whilst fitting the cover, but a little bit of jiggery-pokery got it all tucked in nicely.

I’ve a ordered a genuine washer bottle funnel from Seatpartsdirect, as they have them on sale for £6.09, and I can pick it up when my car’s in with them for it’s MoT in a couple of weeks 😃

Found a big screw in the rear tyre, luckily it was repairable so got that sorted this morning. On the way back the dpf light comes on, so going for a motorway blast later

Took my 6 day old (to me) cupra to the garage under warranty due to a broken window reg and coolant leak from the thermostat housing. Was supposed to be fitting my R600, silicone intake and turbo elbow. Not the best start to Leon life again
