Hello mates,

I searched the forum but i couldnt find anything, maybe im just blind who knows.
I was curios if anyone has made this mod on a 6L ibiza? I have it on my mk2 leon and i kinda like it so I figured i could do it for the ibiza as well..not sure how, VCDS doesnt do it, maybe there are some hardware components that i need?
Any advice is helpful.

Thanks!

I'm not from the UK, it's when the blinkers stay on all the time when you turn on the marker lights/headlights, and make the classic blink when you indicate

Which is illegal in the UK. White lights only at front except for orange flashing turn indicators (1 - 2 flashes per second).

I can see the OP is from Romania but added UK info for any UK members considering the same.
Your information is incorrect. The only colour light that cannot be shown at the front of a vehicle is red. From the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations:

Colour of light shown by lamps and reflectors
11.—(1) No vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp [F1or retro reflective material] which is capable of showing a red light to the front, except–

(a)a red and white chequered domed lamp, or a red and white segmented mast-mounted warning beacon, fitted to a fire service control vehicle and intended for use at the scene of an emergency;

(b)a side marker lamp or a side retro reflector;

(c)retro reflective material or a retro reflector designed primarily to reflect light to one or both sides of the vehicle and attached to or incorporated in any wheel or tyre of–

[F2(i)a pedal cycle;

(ii)a trailer drawn by, or a sidecar attached to, a pedal cycle;

(iii)a solo motor bicycle or motor bicycle combination; or

(iv)an invalid carriage; or]

(d)a traffic sign.

That only states that red lights are not allowed, not that all other colours are.

Another part of the regs:
The restrictions state that no vehicle, other than an emergency vehicle, shall be fitted with a "blue warning beacon or special warning lamp", or a device which resembles a blue warning beacon or a special warning lamp, whether it works or not.

So that's 2 colours not allowed. When I have more time I'll search again.

Yes, I've been watching/reading this forum for quite some time, I really found helpful information here, for both my ibiza and leon but I couldn't find anything about this mod so I thought to myself to open a thread..

can you share the setup of your indicators (left and right) lighting channels.
Sorry ignore this, you have the older style KWP protocol so its very different coding to the UDS Stuff.

Once again you're absolutely incorrect. All other colours are allowed including blue as long as they are a solid continuous colour and not flashing hence 'warning beacon'

That's why you see trucks all over the UK showing a variety of different colours to the front as it's allowed under the current legislation.

Lamps to show a steady light
13.—(1) Save as provided in paragraph (2), no vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp which automatically emits a flashing light.

(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply in respect of–

(a)a direction indicator;

(b)a headlamp fitted to an emergency vehicle [F1or a vehicle used for special forces purposes];

(c)a warning beacon or special warning lamp;

(d)a lamp or illuminated sign fitted to a vehicle used for police purposes;

(e)a green warning lamp used as an anti-lock brake indicator; F2...

(f)lamps forming part of a traffic sign;

[F3(g)a front position lamp capable of emitting a flashing light (whether or not it is also capable of emitting a steady light) which is fitted to—

(i)a pedal cycle; or

(ii)a trailer drawn by, or a sidecar attached to, a pedal cycle;

and which, if it is a lamp which is required to be fitted pursuant to regulation 18, is capable, when emitting a flashing light, of emitting light to the front of the pedal cycle, trailer or sidecar (as the case may be) of an intensity of not less than 4 candelas; or
(h)a rear position lamp capable of emitting a flashing light (whether or not it is also capable of emitting a steady light) which is fitted to—

(i)a pedal cycle; or

(ii)a trailer drawn by, or a sidecar attached to, a pedal cycle;

and which, if it is a lamp which is required to be fitted pursuant to regulation 18, is capable, when emitting a flashing light, of emitting light to the rear of the pedal cycle, trailer or sidecar (as the case may be) of an intensity of not less than 4 candelas.]

So, again, im not from the UK hehe so the laws over there are the same here, i mean yes it's still kind of illegale to change the color of the marker lights to something other than white and to have the blinkers alwasy on like in the US but the police doesnt actually mind, they are pretty chill with this, of course, if the officer wants to fine you for this he can.
So, does anyone know how to do this mod for the ibiza?
