Good evening I hope everyone is well. Found this form so going to ask here. I have a seat Leon mk4 1.5etsi fr first edition 2020 plate. It was low on coolant so I’ve went to my local auto parts and asked for coolant to top up my reservoir. I was given napa long life red coolant so I’ve added this into the coolant tank to bring it from below the minimum line to the maximum line. It was roughly around 250mls I added to the tank. I then read the book and it said not to mix the coolant so I’ve panicked and went to my local garage (not Vag approved) where I stay and they says they will drain the system and add vw coolant. The reason I don’t want to go to approved garage is incase it voids my warranty because I’ve added the wrong coolant and they will change it over so they hopefully can’t tell as it has a two year warranty and it’s just started. We can’t seem to find how much the system holds of coolant does anyone on here know what I should do? Thanks in advance

If I'm not wrong, the right one is Evo 12.

Yes that is correct it is evo12 I should have just topped it up with that instead of using Napa red. Is it easy to just flush the coolant system and replace
with evo12 to get rid of the Napa that put in the coolant system?

You should empty the circuit. Look at the right bottom of the radiator, disconnect the tube and let the coolant run away.

Hopefully my local garage knows what they are doing as they do coolant changes but they aren’t VAG specialist. Do you know the coolant capacity for the specific model of vehicle?
