Charging Seat Leon PHEV

My Leon PHEV is programmed for a constant departure time of 5 a.m. to coincide with the end my off-peak electricity tariff. Just recently it has started to charge at any time of the day as soon as I plug in the cable, despite the minimum charge level being set at 0%. I have noticed when I switch off the ignition a screen shows both "interior monitoring" and "charge immediately" lit up in orange. I get no response from the screen when a tap either of these messages.
Can anyone know what might be happening? As I have already indicated, this is a new problem for me as up to about two weeks ago it has been working fine with the charging starting at about midnight to roughly coincide with start of my off peak tariff.
I have a 2021 model that I have owned for about 9 months.
Apart from this problem, the car is a joy!

Have you set the off-peak charging times in E-Manager? and is the Departure Time set to repeat?

Thanks Fergoo. Yes, I've had off-peak charging times set in E-manager, and the Departure Time set to repeat for 7 days per week.

But I have now managed to cure the problem, without knowing how I did it. The charging current has always been set to max and the minimum charge level at 0%. The other day I looked through all the other settings I could find in E-Manager and must have adjusted something, but I know not what! Anyway, when I switched off the ignition the message had changed and no longer showed "charge immediately" in red. "Interior monitoring" was still showing red which is fine.
I'm pleased to say that the car now charges according to the departure time settings, but I am embarrassed to say that I have no idea how I solved it! I

I just bought a ex-demo leon hybrid and are having the same issue.

Charging current Maximum
Minimum charge 0%
Departure time 7:00am
Regularly ticket from Mon to Sun
Off peak power selected 0:00 to 05:00

I'm not sure if I missed anything above but when connected during day (4pm) the charge starts straight away.

Anyone help? Thanks

Have you got the departure time set for charging?

There's three options
- Charging
- Heating
- Charging and Heating.

1 and 3 shouldn't start the charge immediately. 2 would though, as the departure time is purely set for heating.

Take a photo of your departure time main screen and the specific departure time screen, showing the times and settings if unsure and we'll take a look.

I have Charging selected, nothing else as not required (screen shot from app attached)

Forgot too add I have done a factory reset on car display also as I thought maybe someone or thing maybe bugged it out

All looks ok. Assume Off Peak charging is selected further down?

Has the app successfully synced with the car? I.e. do the departure times show the same on the infotainment.

If all looks right maybe try disabling and renabling on the infotainment to see if its a software issue?

The charging indicator light should briefly flash green every few seconds if you get it right.

I have been down to the car and all set correctly, yes off peak selected.

Green LED was flashing when I left the car which hasn't happened before 👍 I'll see if the car charges tonight as at 80% I'll update in a few days. Thanks 👍

No worries. Hopefully that's sorted it then as that's a good sign!

Haven't used mine for a while now, as I just let the charger manage it. Worked flawlessly for a year on the car software and the granny charger though. Hopefully it will do the same for you, however you are opting to charge it.
