Issues with an Seat Leon mk4 e-hybrid

Hello,

I recently both and seat leon mk4 2021 1.4 ev e-hybrid from and after accident auction. Sadly to say, they already started a repair and did some bits here and there, so don't know exactly what they did or not. From what I know and aware, the car was hit on the left side b pillar and left curtain deployed. They removed the seat belts etc. I found that removed a charging unit from a car as the ev coolant is low and that the 200ap fuse is blow.

So now the car showing faults: high-voltage system - locking after crash, airbag error, low coolant, no start, engine rpm limit etc.

What I did so far, replaced 200a fuse next to battery, replaced airbags and seat belts and buckles, reconnect the ev charger and try to reset faults but no luck.

Few questions:
1- what coolant is recommended for the ev batteries and chargers, I know the top of the filler is security locked, will just refill it using overflow tube. But need to make sure I'm using correct coolant.
2- How to clear or turn off the high-voltage system - locking after crash fault.
3- With the airbags I would quest they need calibration as they come with pretensioning but would be able to do it with a scanner or would need a programmer to do it?
4- do that version of the car have a pyro fuse or just that 200a fuse next to the battery, as replaced it and still don't get power in to the car from it and still need to power it up from the fuse box under the bonnet.

Just out of interest, do you have an HV3 qualification?
I do have HV3 so have a basic knowledge but didn't work much on EVs and currently not working so don't have access to databases or any dealership information, not to mentioning every EV brand have different systems and fail safes in their car to safely work on them.

Sorry for the caps but that message is highly important. One slight mistake and you are dead.

Any work to this vehicle needs to be carried out by a fully qualified master technician with HV3 qualifications. Even then you need two of them working on the car to ensure the upmost safety.

There's probably a good reason that the previous person stopped any work on the car. If the batteries are damaged, which one would assume if the coolant is low (potentially leaked over the batteries) your looking at potentially about £10,000 worth to repair.

Cut your losses and scrap it, it's realistically the only solution.

Even if you do the repair properly and unlock it after an accident with airbag deployment and HV shutdown, you can only do it online with the VW server. And I don't think that a workshop that hasn't repaired the vehicle would do that.

I did go over the batteries and basic test etc, and don't see any DMG to the batteries or hv components itself, but from what I see someone removed the charging unit and disconnect cooling lines from it and that would be a cause of the low coolant level. I'm just not sure why they would do that, but might be that front wing was replaced as well so that remove it to access the cables to the charging port.

I don't know the legal regulations in the UK, but in Austria this statement is not true. But this would be the wrong place to discuss this.

This car needs worked on by a professional repairer with all the correct equipment.

The fact you're unsure what and why things have already been done is not a good indication.

There's a reason that car has been written off and it will most likely be the batteries. Under normal circumstances that car would be a relatively straight forward repair and economic to do so, so would not have been written off. Any damage whatsoever to those batteries (whether it's obvious or not) and they are needing replaced and for that you're talking more than the car is worth.

Technically not required by law yet (although its in the process of being brought in), but definitely required to avoid killing yourself.
